Calling all central Indiana Chevellers!!

I've just about got everything disassembled on the frame, and was thinking of going the powder coating route.

Anyone In the Indy/West area have a shop they would recommend??

I found a shop that seemed to do a lot of auto related stuff, but of course they're up near Chicago. Too far for me. There are a couple in Crawfordsville, which is about a half hour from me that I plan to look into. I just want to find someplace I can trust to get a good job done.

Also, is there a certain TYPE of powdercoat to ask for? It looks like there are quite a few different types. Which one is best for suspension pieces?

Thanks for any info/leads!!!

Some in our club have used these guys for frames and other items and are very pleased. They can handle the sandblasting too. One stop shop.

I've heard good things about Indy powder coatings. I've always used Gale Enameling - (317 or 765) 839-7272, they are in Plainfield. Ask for Curtis. I did my Chevelle frame, control arms and crossmember in gloss black. He does very good work. I use IDS (317) 545-0665 on the eastside for all my sandblasting.

Awesome! Thanks guys, that'll be a big help. Plainfield would be ideal, only 45 minutes away.

Thanks again!

One other question, can you get a good deep gloss with powdercoating? WHile looking around last night, I found a picture of a frame done in Eastwood extreme chassis black, and I loved the look of it.
