i have been thinking about getting the floor of my el camino sprayed with rhino linning, has anyone ever seen this done befor and is it a good idea? i know it will add some wieght to the car but my main idea is to keep the floor rust free. any help or suggetions??? thanks

Some of the import racing boys do this to their cars...no carpet...gives it that race car look, some of the Jeep boys do this to their stuff...it looks really cool in a jeep...please DON'T do this to the camino...maybe the bed...but not the interior...it might actually make it rust faster to be honest with you...MHO...it's your car though...

thanks, why might it make it rust faster?? like i posted it is just a thought. what kind of rust preventer would you recommend? por 15, rust-o-leum....

If your floor is already rusty, the POR or any similar product will work for you. If its not rusty any good paint should do. As long as you repair any leaky weatherstripping the floor should not get wet. If you do have leaks get them fixed.

I think it would be cool. Super durable. You could even put carpet over it. I would leave it without. Could look cool.
