I just recieved replated bumpers from Auto City Classics and the rear bumper has developed spots over night? Actually, it appears that something below the chrome is bleeding through. it's kind of a tarnished color now. what causes this and has anyone every experienced this with Auto City Classics before. thanks in advance for your help.....

Sounds like the chrome plate didn't take to that spot. Nickel has a gold tint to it. Thats whats under the chrome plate. Chrome plate has a bluish tint to it.

thats what i suspected. i swear when i opened it yesterday that i couldn't see these spots. i was told that this bumper just got chromed. i wonder if they were there originally or if they appear over time.

Dude, send it back. I'd bet you paid good money for that bumper and should be entitled to a little better quality. The nickel will just tarnish more, and be that much more noticable.

I plan on sending it back. there's no way i'm going to eat my money on this deal. i was just wondering if anyone had problems with returning their bumpers with this place..
