winter project:the a/c has not worked for about 10 years. I hardly know where to start. step 1: replace the compressor: step 2: pump up the system with nitregeon checkfor leaks;rather than changing all the seals and hoses before the leaks have been detected I have a jug of R12 and don't want to waste it.looking for anybody with A/C knowhow, I am a good student.
