I've seen quite a few 66 restos that claimed to be completely original, but were painted with the Butternut Yellow paint. According to the paint chart this was a 67 color. The 66 chart shows Lemonwood. Was the Butternut also used in 66 but isn't on the chart? Just wondering because my cowl tag has the YY and I'm not sure which one to go with. Thanks if anyone can clear this up for me.

They are very close in color. In 66 the correct one is Lemonwood yellow

Thanks for clearing this up.
I always thought Goldwood Yellow (64) was Crocus Yellow (65) was Lemonwood Yellow (66) was Butternut Yellow (67-69). I could be wrong, but if there are differences there must be very subtle.

The Goldwood is more yellow than the others. The other three do look very close. The LUCITE, RINSHED-MASON and DITZLER codes are different for all three though.
