The value of these cylinder heads depends of several things. As a rule, value will be highest for for model year 1969 (L88 Corvettes and ZL1 Camaors) and 1971 (LS6 Corvettes) dated parts and those that are in pristine condition. Value will be significantly less if: 1.) If they are service dated (other than model year 1969 and 1971), 2.) If they have been milled significantly or have other than as-cast ports and chambers, 3) if there have been repairs to them eg. welds, helicoils or anything that detracts from the original appearance from the purist/restoration point of view. A good pair dated Feb or Mar 1969 for example could bring as much as $3000.00 possibly more to the right buyer. I have seen NOS heads (still in the GM box) go for over $4000.00 They are not a particlarly desireable head from a performance standpoint compared to today's Brodix/AFR/Edelbrock Victor/Canfield/Dart heads. So, if they are used and in average condition I would expect them to fetch $1000.00 or more. A lot of these heads were sold over the counter and any given day you can find a half dozen sets on ebay.

Seems a lot of drag boat people have a lot of stuff like this. My dad recently purchased a set of steel square port heads (one is a 65 head from a Vette or the rare Chevelle and the other is a 66 head) they are in excellent condition with stainless steel seats...he paid the measly sum of $400 for both...A set of heads like what you're describing would be some nice pieces to have IMO.

Hi Andrew. How is that Beaumont doing? As David said, the value depends on what dates they are. Any thing other than the more desirable dates usually sell for about $1500 on Ebay depending on the condition.
