I am looking to buy a functional cowl induction hood for my 70' chevelle. I am looking for suggestions who has the best hood as far as fit and quality. I am also intested in purchasing the air cleaner and other related parts. Who has the best stuff out there?

Check with your local GM dealer.I bought a cowl hood for a friend last year from GM>I think they have a company repoping them.They seem pretty good.For all the parts to get the cowl induction working I would suggest getting all the pieces from a good source like Ground up Restorations.They have all the oarts you need and you are not wasting time running around to many places trying to collect everthing,good luck -keep on cruisin,Dave

last year i bought a cowl hood kit from year one came with an original gm hood and flapper all the parts are there with air cleaner very nice check it out
