Hello! I was wondering on my 69' SS the steering column and wheel
were black when I got the car but, the rest of the interior is red.. It's
possible that they have been switched out but, I was thinking I read
somewhere that the SS car's had a black column regardless of interior color? Is that correct?

yes, that is correct! not sure about the wheel.

All correct. The steering wheel would have been black as well on the SS unless a sport wheel was added.
