on my 68 chevelle the tag says H-2 for paint code. im trying to figure out what color the car was orginally. All the information i can come up with is a two letter system for paint code, but i have a 2 after the letter.

The 2 means Black Vinyl top. My 68 is L-2 and I am pretty sure the vinyl I removed was original.
