I have recently acquired a used power disc brake set up for my manual drum brake 1966 El Camino. I believe the set up is 1986-72 based on the spindle styles. All components funtion well but need cosmetic restoring. I am looking for advice on what to finish the parts with (i.e. POR-15, Eastwood Golden Cad, etc.). I am not looking for orginal appearance. Just want them to look good and stay that way. The Elky is my first atempt at restoration and I have no experience whatsoever. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.
