I have a 69 conv. The pass window does not fit. Driver is fine. It will not meet the windshield post and the top seal simultaneously. I've fiddled with the top adj. and the window adj, but I can't make it fit. I SUSPECT that someone put in a window from a coupe, or some other car.
Does anyone know if front windows for the coupe are the same or diff from the conv? Does my theory make any sense?
I've tried measuring the two windows, but they are close and it's difficult to tell.
The door glass is the same, coupe or conv, but the 1/4 glass is different. I've found the Fisher body manual to be very helpful in understanding which screws affect which adjustment.

Try looking at the adjustment nuts/bolts and returning them to the original factory marks if you don't understand what they do or control. It may start fitting again. It takes experience to get those windows fitting right or a lot of fiddling around. Check your forward window "top out" stop. If you can't get it, call or bring it to an auto glass shop and they can fix it for you.
Good Luck

Hi Waltn, I have the same problem with my 69 convertible. The top has a lot to do with the window fitting, there is an adjustment for the top right behind the rear seat, loosen the nut and push up on the top where the front and quater window meet, then tighten the nut back up. Hop this helps.
