I just set up my westell 327w for a wireless connection to my wifes Dell D600
laptop. It works ok but when it boots it takes a long time (2 minutes) for the icons to appear. The desktop comes up immediately. Any suggestions appreciated.

Are the icons from a mapped drive and if so has the wireless connection been established in the 120 second latency? Can you access the net during that lag?
