I have seen several pictures of 69 malibu's with a wide rocker panel molding running from the front to the rear.
My Malibu only has a thin 1" molding about a foot up from the bottom of the car. Since I'm about to paint my car this would be a great time to change it.
Does anyone know where I might find these (besides a junk yard).
Thanks,
Mike

Are you sure it's actual chrome and not silver paint. I believe some of the '69s came with the rockers painted silver, I know mine did. (see sig for pic)
Hope this helps

The only rocker panel mldg I ever saw on a '69, was on my 300 Deluxe. It was about one inch wide and about the same thickness. Profile was triangular.

Thanks for the reply's. I guess I was confusing the painted rocker along with the chrome molding.
Thanks for clearing this all up. But heh!, it sure would be different if there was a wide rocker molding.
Thanks again,
Mike
