I'm about to have my cast iron intake blasted and I was wondering what paint scheme to go with to prevent the peeling associated with the heat generated in the exhaust passage area. I have some high heat chevy orange, but thought you guys would know whats best.

Unless you block the heat crossovers, you can't prevent it. Anything, including powdercoating will eventually discolor. Block e'm off and use the Chevy Orange, I like Duplicolor the best, and paint several coats and allow plenty of drying time. I did one this way and it was sitll all one color 3 years later.
