I posted this earlier but did not get a reply. (or didnt check in time with the search not working) If your replied the first time please do so again.

As I am removing the fenders and interior panels I am noticing the inside door skin passenger side only has rust on the inside about 1/3 up. The thick black coating is laying in bottom.

Can I spray some corrless on it or do I need new door skins? I cant sand what looks like surface rust in there.

alright. two conditions, 1) if the door is off the car 2) if the door is on the car. 1) sand blast it with low pressure, use por-15 metal clean then metal ready then por-15. it will never rust again. 2) reach in with steel wool or a wire brush or sandpaper. get it as good as you can. then apply por-15 products as stated above. if you have any thru rust holes weld new patch pieces in, sand , prime , paint. i would not replace the door skin unless it has rust all the way THRU a large portion of the skin.
