I was seriously considering one of these as I have read good things about them, and the price seems right. Problem is it looks like they don't make them anymore. Is the Titanium the new version of the platinum? HVLP or compliant?
Thanks,
Steve

Thanks for the link Bill. I dug a little deeper and found the answers I was looking for. Seems it was discontinued with no replacement. From what I have read the feeling is it was dropped because it is more of a "lazy" gun, not ideal for the production shop. Seems like the ideal gun for the average guy with a less than ideal air supply and not as much experience.

I bought a refurbished Sharpe Platinum 2 years ago right from Sharpe. I inquired by email or phone about refurbs. They responded promptly.I couldn't tell it from new when I got it. They sell refurbs for $150. Not sure if they still have some. Phone them or email them.
I think the gun is great, but I am new to painting and this is my first gun. My purchase was dictated by air pressure, as my 5hp 60 gal unit is slightly under what is recommended for most hlvp production guns. Remember hlvp uses more air volume to paint, so you can't risk losing air pressure during a key shoot of base or clear. With the Platinum, my compressor hardly runs when I paint,it easily catches up and shuts off during a shoot. They still sell all the parts for a Platinum. Bought a 1.3 needle and tip last month.

that Platnium is a nice gun because its uses less air then most.I would keep looking for one.
