This stuff gets everywhere! And in the process I got a small bit on the fender (maybe 1/4 area). I'm going to be color sanding the car in the near future, but in the mean time is there anything besides alot of sanding that would remove it? I don't really want to sand too much, because my cousin is the one that will be color sanding (and shooting more clear) for me...so I'd rather let him do any sanding.

Guess I should have been more clear in the title. It got on the outside part of the fender which was just painted about 6 months ago.
Anyone?

maybe call por and see what they think. about the only thing i would say is very carfully wet sand it. then buff out.

has the car ever been waxed? maybe, just maybe, it can be popped off. if it has might try a hair dryer and put just a "little " heat on it to melt the wax and give it a slight push. might work, maybe not. Dave

Yeah its been waxed before. I haven't even tried touching it since the front clip has been off. I just hope it comes off ok. I emailed POR15 tech support, and they didn't give me much info rather than to wait until I do the color sanding in case it needs to be touched up.

I would try shaving it off with a denibbing tool before colorsanding, POR is very hard stuff and if you try to just sand it off you may cut the paint around the spot without removing the POR since it is so hard. The denibbing tool should cut it down OK. Hopefully it's in an area that this will work. BOB graemlins/thumbsup.gif

once it cures, it should pop right off. por-15 does not like to stick to smooth surfaces. i would very carefully use an exacto knife and try to flake it off.
