Does anyone have any experience with repop fenders (1966 Chevelle) from Muscle Factory catalog. They're $50 cheaper then Year One, but how do they fit. thanks graemlins/beers.gif

bigblkboo, Find out who's fenders the supplier (Y.O., Muscle Factory, etc.) sells. There are only 2 choices DII or Goodmark. Goodmark just released theirs. I don't have any experience with their 66 fenders, but with their reputation I'd go with them. If you have a problem, they will stand behind it (this I do know from experience).
I do have experience with the DII fenders. I did not like the fit or the quality of the DII pieces. The body lines did not line up correctly and the lines were too sharp. The welded in nuts for the hinges, etc. were horribly cheap. I ended up welding in my own after 3 of the originals broke in half. I may be overly picky, but this is just my opinion. Apparently Goodmark agrees with me. Goodmark used to sell the DII fenders and now they tooled their own.
