My wife is director of alumni services at NWU and we got a call at about 6am this morning. The Phi Kappa Tau fraternity house had a fire and one young man is dead and three are in the hospital in critical condition. Nebraska Wesleyan is a very close community so this tragedy has hit the campus and alums very hard. Thirty-nine members were housed in the fraternity house and it was the second oldest building on campus, the building was well over 100 years old.
Any Phi Kappa Tau's out there who can lend a hand to their brothers? The other fraternities on campus have pledged to help and of course the university will do all it can, but any and all support will be welcomed to help these young men recover and rebuild.
