How much would a original '70-'72 SS hood be worth. It is in good condition with NO rust or dents. I just need to know what it would be worth....any one need it? :D

the one I am looking at doesn't have C.I. but he also has a 71-72 Cowl Induction hood. There is one problem though. He told me when it was on a car, it flew up and bent the whole front of it. It is in the same condition. Tell me if you still want it.

I practically gave away an original 70 GM C.I. hood at the Springfield Swap meet last weekend for $100.

It had been finished on the underside with 2 coats of POR-15 (after sandblasting the C.I. frame) and topside taken down to metal and sprayed a coat of metal etch.

I looked for a year to find this one in Ohio. They are probably easier to find in the South.

Yeah, it needed more minor finishing. But I couldn't believe no one took it home till Sunday.
