Since I may be getting some "woods" cars that have no titles I was wondering if anyone knew how to go about getting a title for a car. I was told by a friend that I should try to go through maryland because they are more lenient. Any help would be appreciated.

I lost the title to my car before getting it transferred into my name. I got a new one by going through a lien service.

If you didn't see my other post the cars are coming out of the woods at my friends house. He doesn't have the titles because they were there when he bought the land.

Don't worry about a title for one of them....pick a nice restorable 2-door chevy for me and send it up to Maine. No titles required on vehicles over 15 years old. Just a bill o' sale. I'm not too fussy - would just to have one that been sitting outside and not rusted into a bunch of brown molecules like they do up here. Will pay :)

How is that any different than having a title and losing it? I didn't have a title either!

There's a member on here that has a "title" service. Seems like he is in AL or GA or somewhere. Maybe he'll chime in or you could search.............
