Does anyone know where the 1969 tissue dispenser is supposed to go?

Are refills available?

I believe they have been available on GM cars and trucks since the early 40's, maybe earlier.

I'm pretty sure the tissue dispenser mounts on the hump between the driver and passenger seat. I don't think it is useable if you have a center console. It uses a large "U" shaped pin that fastens it to the carpet. Not a great idea, but that is the way it worked.

My 66 malibu came with one and it is mounted under the dash, beneath and between the heater controls and the glove box if that makes sense. Hops this is some help. Tony

I was told that it utilized a self adhesive tape and was supposed to be mounted at the bottom of the dash. I would assume on the rh side as an 8 track or multiplex would interfere with it.
I don't think the console would be an issue as I think I recall seeing one in a car many years ago.

Here's one on eBay.
Picture shows the bottom side.
Tissue is pulled from the bottom when it's installed.

I've seen many of these on eBay over the years, but not too many as of late. This guy is far too proud of his IMO.

I even found some refills on eBay

$56.00 is a lot to spend on tissue to blow your nose, but I guess if ya got to..........
