for a 69. How do I adjust the hood on my Chevelle so it closes easley? All related parts are in good working order...Thanks

I you are talking about the latch adjustment there are several ways. If the latch stem is hitting before it goes into the lower latch assembly you will have to loosen the 4 bolts on the upper hood latch bracket and adjust. If you are having trouble with it engaging the stem you will have to remove the upper latch plate, loosen the lock nut on the stem and turn the stem down or up.I found it easier to loosen the lock nut a good bit and reattach the plate so you could then adjust the stem to get a good alignment. Don't forget to re-tighten the lock nut. I don't know what your particular problem is but these two items are the most common. Hope this helps
