do they make a steel cowl panle for the hood or just fiberglass? also dose any one have any pics of a hood with the cowl section that is one there car? can affored a fiberglass hood (600$$) so iam going to just use the cowl senction they make and put it in myself

Hey try this! I used dzues clips to put my hood scoop on. It looks ok and you can take the scoop off to clean under it. Check it out:

ya but this is more of a show car and i dont think that would look 2 sweet but if it was a race car thats what i would do looks nice tho

yeah, the olds was just one thing, .....FAST! I didn't care a whole lot about appearences. You've got a pretty car cookin' there. I would save the money and and do it right the first time. Why risk messing up a good car or risking longevity for a few dollars during the build. It'll suck worse after you're done and the scoop starts to crack at the base.

ya my buddy put a scoop like that on his 67 olds and it crack but he didnt use fiberglass eather to put it on so thats why i think its cracking. ill just try and look for a used one 2 maybe

Goodmark does have just the scoops available in steel.
