This weekend I traded a turnkey 355 with some good parts on it but it had some problems for a 440 a 60 over 427. I did not need the small block anymore so i do not think i am out that much. This is the parts in this motor. Stock crank bill miller aluminum rods with some trw forged pistons the comp is around 13 to 1. Brand new team g 4500 flange intake. A 740 solid roller cam with merlin iron heads the have never been ported with titanum valves. Lunati roller rockers and 7/16 push rods brand unknown. I heard this motor run before we traded the guy i got it from had some kind of rail he runs in mud and the big block put his 4wd in a bind and he need a small block to finish the season. The motor held 80 pounds of oil pres and sounded good. I just do not have any idea what this is worth. He said it would run mid 9s in a door car with out a problem. I have taken a head and the oil pan off the see if i got some junk but everything looks great. If someone has a ball park what this is worth please let me know I do not know if i want to keep it and save it for a tube chassis car I am working on or sell it and build a really nice small block I am having a hard time making my mind up and by the way it is a 67 date coded 4 bolt 427 block but it has been zero decked so no suffix

Personally I would keep it. Sounds like you have 5 to 7k easy in that motor.
I would stick it on a Dyno to what it has and then build that tube chassis car around it.
