Question for you guys running headers on your BB 4 speed chevelles ('69 model in particular). What brand has the best fitment with the least amount of bang'in and cuss'in involved ? :)

I run the hooker 2"comps in my 69 with no clearance issues. I do run solid mounts. Unlike my other buddys 69 my headers clear the steering shaft.

Sanderson BB3's. 1 7/8" 3" collector mid length.

I run the patriots 2" primaries 3.5" collectors with poly motor mounts. Absolutely no clearance issue with the M-21.

I put a set of Hooker Comps in a 68 SS 4 speed car about 2 months ago. They fit nice, but were very close to the lower control arm mount. They cleared all clutch components and steering shaft just fine.
