I was thinking lately about the factory side-stripes for the 1967 SS Chevelles.
I was thinking of putting these on my 1966 SS... I would use the Optional stripes(that also go OVER the wheel arches). see post below, I think I'd go with the standard stripes instead
My car is far from stock (but looks relatively stock on the outside), and I thought this would be a nice addition, but still retain that stock factory flavor...
I figured the body contours are the same, exceot the front portion of the front fender. And that piece is actually shorter on the 66, so the stripes should fit perfectly...
Anybody ever do this? I have never seen it done...
I think I would choose the White stripes, to go with the white interior and top (as well as my wheels-powder coated white as well)...
