I am deep into my Th400. I am installing the internal pieces that came with the Transgo stage 2 kit. I have put the stronger orange spring in the front pump. I am installing a 34 element sprag/drum ,the stronger springs in the drum, and the large snap ring in the case. Through researching here I came across threads were you say dual feeding the direct drum is a good mod to make. You confirm to another poster that to dual feed direct drum I should plug the 3rd hole over from the reverse band servo piston and remove the 2nd ?? carrier ring. Is this the second from the front or rear of the carrier ?There are 4 rings? With air pressure I have found the hole to plug but on the other end of passage the fluid comes out in the center of the 4 rings. Will this mod allow the transmission to shift on its own? I have read many of your posts here and on the Camaro site. I really respect your knowlege and appreciate your help.
