: Air compressor for painting/ air tools ?

Thinking about getting an air compressor for painting, primer, cutting tools, and ect.. wandering if an 26gal 5hp 150psi cambell hausfeld would do the trick. I now have a limited budget and would like to start with this one if I could. whatcha guys think. Thanks for your help.

Not big enough, that is what I run my air ratchets and zip guns off of. My D/A, die grinder, air grinder are all dead after less than a minute on that same compressor, I used it to run the D/A while sanding my car-it literally ran ALL DAY, like 11 hours-wife and neighbors :rolleyes:

Alrighty. thanks for the reply! guess I'll just have to save up some money for a big one. Wanting to get a d/a sander does anyone make an electric d/a.
