Has anyone ever replaced the windshield trough on a 68 or 69 chevelle? Mine is in pretty bad shape. It's rusting into the dash panel and where the windshield lays. There was a bad leak around the bottom seal of the windshield. Is there a replacement piece for this or do I need to start looking for a donor? I used a wire wheel on my drill to take the some of the rust away, but it looks pitted very badly. The rust looks like its underneath the metal part of the dash also. If anyone has any sugestions, I sure would appreciate it. Thanks

You might try a search for some of his posts.
You might try Ausleys. I got mine from them for a 64. www.chevelle.com (http://www.chevelle.com) is the website.

Thanks for the replies, Is it possible to remove the metal dash part to make sure I can remove all the rust? What did Ausleys call this part on ther web site? Thank again for your help. Trying to piece this beauty back together can be a real pain, but once said and done it will be worth all the sweat and pain. Im new at this and taking one step at a time. Ive got my car completely apart and by looking at the car right now Ive found its going to be a bigger job than I thought. Leo, was this part hard to install?
I don't know, I eventually sold the car without doing that repair. I am sure any competent body man can to the installation/repair.
