I have give up the search for a donor 12 bolt in good condition and decided to suck it up, dump the cash and order a new 12 or 9"... I have a few questions for you guys though... First, I am looking for a true bolt in situation... I have nice upper and lower arms which I don't want to loose and prefer not to mess around with pinion angles and any work that might take two people... Second, ford 9 or 12 bolt with c-clip elims? I heard the 9+ and other 9s might need to be set(again, want to just bolt her in)... and last but not least, who.. Currie, Strange, Dutchman, DTS... Any suggestions with be appreciate... thanks in advance guys...

I had DTS build me the Strange S-60 with several of their options for my Chevelle. I would highly recommend them.

I found a place about a year ago called BMR Fabrications (http://www.bmrfabrication.com/A-Body.htm). They have a lot of options and pretty good prices. I have e-mailed them a few times and got a quick response, but I havn't bought anything from them yet. They have a bolt in 9", 12-bolt, and Dana-60

I went with a Moser 12 bolt from biggearhead. Ford ends, tapered roller bearings, 33 Spline axles, Eaton Posi. Put the big 11" brakes on at the same time.
Took the stock unit out, put the Moser in using the same arms I had.
