I posted this in restoration but this may be the better forum. I am looking at buying a Clark siphon sandblasting cabnet. It is @ 33wX24dX24H. Cost is just over $300. Has anyone used one of these. And if so how did it work out. I have a pressure blaster I could connect to it but wanted input since that may be a little agressive.
Thanks Gary

I have a blast cabinet that I got from Eastwood and I must say it's probably one of the best tools I ever got. It makes life so much easier when cleaning up small parts ans suspension pieces.

Is your cabinet a siphon type or is it pressurised. I know they make pressurized units but they are quiete expensive. They say it cut the blansting time by 75 percent but I am concerned about it posibley being to aggresive for small parts. Thanks Gary

I have a sandblast cabinet I made from a template years ago. It is constructed of plywood and some spare angle iron. I don't think it cost me much more than $25 to build. It has a TIP siphon blast unit that works ok for small parts. I also have a pressure blaster that is much faster. I once tried the pressure blaster in the cabinet, but found that it basically overwhelms the small size of the cabinet. Plus since the pressure blaster material is not recycled, you need to constantly remove the media from the cabinet and return it to the pressure unit. Kind of a pain in the butt.
