About 2 months ago I had the new paint laid down, its BC/CC PPG and Transtar Clear. I want to put a healthy protective coat of wax or some type of protectant on it. There is also a decent amount of orange peal in the clear. Can someone let me know what products to use and what methods work best. Lots of water, 1500 Grit-2000 Grit Wetsand, after that im not sure.. .I'll probably be doing it by hand no auto buffer/polishers here.

Bringing a shine back to your car, after wet sanding, without a buffer is like cutting the grass in your yard without a lawn mower. It can be done but your results won't match a buffer and you will spend a week doing it by hand. If you don't have a buffer just squirt some rubbing compound on a spot and start rubbing. Keep rubbing till it shines. Then do the same with a glaze. Do a search on buffing here and you will get a good education on the subject.

There is no way your gonna get good results without wheelin it. As stated above, it's like cutting your grass with finger nail clippers. Rent, buy, borrow, beg, or steal a buffer and finish it right...

Probably can rent a buffer for $40 over a weekend. My friend just bough a decent variable speed one for under $200.
