I was thinking of buying a belair bobs back half kit for my 72 chevelle off Ebay. Does anyone know anything about these, or do I need to go with somthing different

Dont know about the kit but Bob is a member here and at Team Camaro. I have bought a bunch of things from him and he always gave me the bset price and service out of any vendor.He's a nice guy too.

Seems like making alot of work for yourself getting a kit with a 7 piece trunk pan.

IMO with the whole back half apart as much as that kit denotes, it should have a full 1 piece trunk floor.

Also if all that actually needs to be replaced, you had better be looking at your inner wheel houses and trunk floor drop offs too.

Just my 2c worth.

Nightshade makes a good point... the trunk dropoffs are always gone if you need quarters, especially if you need outer wheelhouses too. Definately check if you need inner wheelhouses and those drop offs.
