hi every one i have a set of 66-67 OEM heater control cables. the problem is they have some kinks inside the housing. the only way i can see to get the line out of the housing is bending out the loop at the end. if i do this how do i get the loop back? how did they do it originally?? what do yall do about this problem. i would like to get them working very smooth.

thanks

I KNOW THIS IS LIKE TALKING TO YOUR WIFE-GOOD CONVERSATION BUT SHE DONT TELL YOU MUCH
SOME WHERE I HAVE SEEN A TOOL FOR REWINDING THAT END OF THE CABLES PROBLEM IS TOO MANY BUDWEISERS (CANT REMEMBER WHERE I SAW IT)
I DO BELIVE YOU CAN REPLACE IT WITH A STIFF WIRE THEY CALL MUSIC OR PIANO WIRE
I ALSO THINK IF YOU WORK WITH A 1/4 " BOLT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FORM THE ROUND END YOUR LOOKING FOR GOOD LUCK & HOPE THIS IS A LITTLE HELP

Check a lawn mower repair and supply store for a cable, Also an aftermaket choke cable may be worth looking at. For the ends try a large pair of needle nose and a litte heat.
Good Luck
