No it doesn't.Use a two part seam sealer like 3M,duramix or Fusor. It wont crack because it stays somewhat flexable.I would only use windshield urethane on windshields. Its not meant to be painted over.

So you want to buy a 40 dollar tube of fusar. Go a head. The urathane is the way to go. Its just a small crack your sealing. And buy the way PAINT DOES STICK TO IT. The market is got you tricked into using all these new products. SELL SELL SELL. Dont beleive it.

If i'm spending upwards of $500 in materials and counless hours of prep work,I don't mind spending $25 to use the right stuff. Its not worth the risk of something going wrong. Also windshield urethane is nearly impossible to remove if you ever needed to.Its up to whoevers doing it,he asked for an opinion and thats mine. Not saying your wrong.

Thanks for the replys guys!!!
I have had good luck with the new products and dont mind the money part.
I like the looks of the two part systems, I just dont know weather to use the high build or the regular. SEM makes both and both can be used for this .
thanks again T.C.

T.C use the regular fill seam sealer as the seam on the drip rail is minor and the heavy sealer is more prone to cracking then the regular fill. Either company like 3m or SEM make a excellet product. A nice tip to smooth out the sealer is to after you apply the sealer take a rag and dampen it in some wax and grease remover. Dont over do it just enough to moisten the rag up. Then wrap the rag around your finger and with very light pressure smooth out the sealer.
Good luck with your project...Eric

TC in case you dont have some wax remover just use some good old fashioned spit on the finger, but that can be a little bit more of a mess. Dont know about the lacquer thinner never tried and probebly be a good thing to avoid. No problem just trying to help out other enthusiasts, good luck with your project TC

I have Dupont Final Kleen?
I guess this is what you mean by wax remover?
It's suposed to remove oil and other junk. Its a cleaner to be used just before you paint.
thanks again T.C.
