well the chevelle is in the body shop and the right quarter has 4-5 small pin hole rust spots on the lip in the middle of the quarter straight up from the tire. my question. the quarter does not need to be replaced this is the only rust. has anyone used the lip patch panel from original parts group? does it match the original lip design. just don't want to spend $180 bucks for a whole quarter if it is not needed. thanx for any help

Not an expert. The guys were discussing this once. It went something like:
Time is money.
If you are a pro, "play" with patches.
If not, save money and buy the full replacement. By the time your body guy finishes, the time he spends working on it, getting it right, a new ¼ can be installed with a considerable savings in the end.
Made sense. You might enjoy these:

Me thinks it was these guys who were discussing it.
$180 part does not sound like much compared to the time a good body man will spend getting a patch on right.
