I should have added this to my last post, but how much flatenner should I add to my acrylic enamel for that fairly close to original underhood black?

GM restoration black from the dealer looks real close to the original. Give it a try. As far as the flattener your local paint jobber should be able to help you out.

I did my last two cars with dupont centari and 40%flattner looks good.

I used Centari Pitch Black and 15% flattener before adding thinner. Gave maybe a touch more gloss than original, which is what I was after.
