Okay Guy"s i have the ebay number of the engine i bought it has alot of pictures maybe you guys can tell me alittle about it. i see it has flat top pistons. the guy sez it was rebuilt but to what spec's,can you look at the pictures see what is great what is bad?? i know it is rebuildable the casting numbers sez she only has 245 hp but who knows if it was rebuilt it might already be ready to race i dunno maybe you guys can give me some good or bad news about the engine i just bought thanks chev702 ebay item # 280045951667 I only paid 700.00 for it so i won't get hurt on the deal but i want a 500 hp engine not a 245 hp. i was told how to build it but maybe you guy's can take a look see at what i got. would you put this baby in your fresh built 1970 chevelle??of course a full cleanup and what ever it needs to get my 500 hp. but other then that is this a engine worthy of the 70?? thanks guys i trust your opinions Chev702

Ya got the good heads but now we need to now how ya gonna drive it and what rear gear and trans type etc. 500hp can be done a millions ways but everyone can't stand the aggressiveness in the same manner. So explain why you want 500hp.
