been to sight a bunch of times and just joined. bought my 70 chevelle 24 years ago. the previous owner raced it at the track and removed alot of stock equipment. bought it with a 402 and 396emblems on fenders(they look like camaro emblems). the car has been in garage since 86. after checking out a few chevelle sights, decided to check for a build sheet. i found it stuffed in front seat. found out car originally came with an LS6. the entire drive train has been changed, so i got a big job ahead of me. after seeing on-line what i would have to pay just for a daul-horn air cleaner(non-cowl induction hood) i almost passed out. so i sold my wife. ha ha. wish me luck thanks:waving:

If your wife was worth that much, she may have been a keeper.:D

I sold mine, but the new owner returned her! (I hope she never reads this) Good luck, A few years after you bought yours, I bought a 64 Chevelle in 1987. I paid $800 for two of them. And one of them had a rebuilt 283 in it that ran excellent! Oh how times have changed! I also remember paying $250 for a 69 2-door Malibu that I drove to and from work 60 miles a day without doing anything to it.

You will have fun hunting for all the correct dated parts, especially when you realize that finding some of the parts may take a couple of years. Who knows how expensive they will be when you finally find them.
Better yet, just sell it to me and I'll take care of it...
