I may advise people to get pints before they paint their car but it is for this reason. I worked at a shop and the owners girlfriend wanted her car redone in a new color. After all the work was done she picked a color and said thats it I want This color. She had looked at so many colors she thought she new what it would look like in the sun. I know what you mean, I have 5 empty pints of DBC base in my garbage right now, and on every one when I saw it in the chip book I said " that's THE color"! I still haven't decided what color to paint my 70, but I am glad I tested some of the colors on the side of a parts car before spraying my whole car.
