Hello all! Have been thinking of selling my '70 Malibu. I've checked out E-Bay and some other sites to try to get a feel for what it's worth but I would appreciate a little feedback. A little about the car. 1970 Chevelle Malibu. Originally a 307 car. I purchased a crate motor(4 bolt 300hp) and all new accessories(minus P.S. pump) It has a 12 bolt, 3.73 rear, and Th-350 trans all with less than 5k on them. I had it painted about 2 yrs ago at Maaco and the botttom of the quarters are already starting to bubble. Buckets and console shift(Originally a bench seat) Floors are solid, One hole in the trunk the size of quarter. New shocks,Eibach springs, emblems, and lots of other little stuff. I've attempted to post some pics. First time attempting, if it doesn't work I'll have to call my brother again.. Thanks

A lot depends on where you are located. I would say you have a pretty decent car to sell.

Located in Eastern Pa. I was thinking around 7k. Let me know if you think that's way off.

That seems too reasonable.

That's the dilema. Every year about this time I get the itch to get rid of it. I think to myself, All it's gonna do is sit in the garage all winter and take up valuable space. Then spring comes, I pull it out, clean it up, and then dump another grand or so into it. I love it for about six months a year. I'm in the garage doing this or that and it keeps me busy. The other six, I can't stand it! It needs this, it needs that, too much money to get it where I want it to be! My wife says I will regret it if I sell it, and she doesn't want to "hear about it" for the rest of her life. I'm 31, married, and have my first child due in May. I figure if I do sell it, I better buy something else quick(mid 90's Corvette?) or I will be destined to drive a minivan for the rest of my life. Sorry, I could ramble on about this forever. Somehow I think I should be lying on a couch talking to a "professional" rather than typing on my computer.

I say don't sell it, It seems the season affects your mood about the car. I can see why its hard to keep it during the winter when you cant drive it but thats the time to throw a heater in the garage and work on it.

IMO I don't think you should sell, but if you do 7K seems very reasonable.
