Hi: 66 Chevelle 396 3 row stock automatic radiator. What is the difference between an AC radiator or non AC? Are they all the same? Are the stock 3 row radiators used for AC or are they strictly 4 rows for AC. THANKS..!

This may help a little. I built a 70 SS 396 sta. wgn. Engine was a 67-325 hp-396. With the air on, and a four core rad. it would run around 195-205 in traffic. I would say on the highway a 3 may be OK. I would suggest a four core and all the Factory items to match an A/C set up -Correct shroud,fan blade-5-7? Clutch? Take your time to make it RIGHT or you may have major problems. Bob
