I read with interest how ricks70ss found a lost friend, because I to have been looking for a friend of mine that was with me in the Marines in Vietnam. When we left there in 1969 we did stay in touch thru mail but somehow when he moved we lost touch and haven't been in touch since 1979. I thought I tried everything that I could to find him but couldn't connect with him. Well when I saw ricks70ss post I put a little post in there that I too was looking for a lost buddy but couldn't find him. That's when I got a private message from another team member who I'll keep private for now unless he wants me to say his name who said he might be able to help me. I gave him my buddy's name and last known address and he came up with a list of names and address's. Well to make a long story short I mailed letters out and today I got the call I've been waiting for. I just couldn't believe it. The hair stood up on my arms when he said Semper Fi cause at that moment I new it was him. I can't say thank you enough to the fellow team member who helped me out and to this site for making this possible. Hopefully in the near future I get to oregon to see him and talk about old times. Got to go wipe the tears from my eyes now. Thanks again Team Member.
