I have been looking at two 69 SS's. One has a stainless steel center bar. Are they all supposed to have the trim in the center or are there some variations by plant or build date ?

It does not have any holes either. Do I have the wrong grille or do I just need to add the center strip. Any exceptions to the rule on these grilles.?
