I don't post here often but I like to get some input. I have a 70 pontiac lemans that I restored, its a street car, pro-touring style build. I recently took it to the drags and my best run was 12.98 at 106 with 1.99 60ft and.005 reaction time. I did this on 17" rims 285/40 nitto street tires. My engine is a 388 chevy 10.8:1 cr, 2.02 gm heads ported, polished, cam 507lift/235dur at .050/108 ls,69 z28 intake,Holley 3310 750 VS carb. HEI ign. My timing is 14intial and 34 total, no vacuum adv. Jetting is 73 front 80 back with the lightest spring in the secondaries. My tranny is a th-350 with 2400 converter (I couldn't bring the rpms past 2000) and 3.55 rear gears with 26" tire. My chassis is boxed and my suspension has eldelbrock rear arms new springs and poly bushings, 1-1/4 front bar, 7/8 rear. Eldelbrock shocks. Car weighs 3500 with out me (according to the gravel pit across from my house) and I weight about 200. So race weight is 3700. What do you guys think? Should I be faster? What could I do to go quicker but keep it streetable? Here's a link to some pics of my car. http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=111 Thanks,Frank
