Iam replacing my lower left side door hinge because my door drops down. Do you guys recomend i change the upper hinge also? Also any tips on remounting and alining the door?

Chances are that if the lower hinge is worn, the upper is to. I just changed the pins and bushings on my 68. Not that hard of a job but does require some grinding to remove the old pins. As for alignment, scribe around the hinge before you remove it. Good luck

Thanks alot steve, I bought the lower hinge complete, I didnot know you could buy just the pins. Ill buy the pin for the top hinge it will save some money. graemlins/clonk.gif thanks phil

When I took my doors off. I drilled 2... 1/8" holes in each hinge for realigning. I had my front fenders off.

i bought a hinge-pin replacement kit at auto zone for very little dough.
