boatanchor Feb 1st, 01, 6:03 AM I'm restoring a '66 Malibu 2dr hardtop and I'm having trouble finding (? what I believe was the original?) "smooth type" rocker trim- All the resto catalogs I've used (Paddock, NPD, OPG, bowtie...) only seem to carry the "ribbed SuperSport" style for '66. They do however have a "smooth type" trim listed as '64 & '65 specific- would these fit my '66? I'm sure I've seen many a "non-SuperSport '66" with smooth rocker trims! puzzled in Nort Jersey.... WayneK Feb 1st, 01, 7:10 AM Yes the 65 will fit. It is smooth from the bottom up and has two or three little ribs at the top. The smooth 64 SS will be a problem as they use end caps.
