I like the dash mounted clock that was optional with SS cars that have the dash tach. Does anyone have any pics of the actual gauge pod/clock? I have some, but nothing close up. I found what I think is a similar gauge pod, and would like to install, but want it to look as close to factory as possible. The originals are a bear to locate, and very expensive, so I am going to improvise. Help!

Thanks Rich! Do you recall what the major differences are between the two years? I have heard that the 64 has a wrinkle paint finish, is this accurate?

I don't recall the '64 having a wrinkle paint finish, I think it is simply a satin black. The '64 clock has a flat face bezel unlike the scalloped '65 version. The face on the '64 is larger and nearly flush with the bezel instead of being recessed into the case.
