I was reading some of the posted topic and was wondering where and how much does it cost to get a new crate 350 engine. I live in the Hawaiian islands. thanks.

Check with your local GM dealer. Any dealer can order one, but in your case the shipping might be a problem. You can get the basic GM 350/220HP for $1200. The 330HP version is about $2200 & the 345Hp is about $3300. These are stateside prices from the performance dealers who advertise in Super Chevy & Chevy HHi Performance. You can call one of the stateside dealers yourself and get an estimate. Maybe someone else can recommend a left coast dealership.
